Keyword density checker
Paste a draft and see which words and two-word phrases carry it, with each one's share of the total.

Density is how often a word appears as a share of all the words in the text. The checker counts every word, then lists the ten most frequent single words and the ten most frequent two-word phrases, each with its count and share. Common words are set aside by default so the list shows what the piece is about.
There is no right density. Search engines stopped rewarding repetition long ago and penalise the obvious kind. Use the table the other way round: if the term you are writing about is missing from the top ten, the draft may not say what you think it says; if one phrase dominates, read it aloud and hear whether it grates.
