UTM parameters are five query-string fields that analytics tools read to attribute a visit: source, medium and campaign are the ones that matter, term and content are for paid search and A/B variants. This builder appends them to every URL you paste, keeps any parameters the URL already had, and encodes the values so spaces and symbols survive.

Consistency is the whole point. "Email", "email" and "e-mail" are three different mediums to a report, so the values are lowercased by default and you should agree on a short list of allowed sources and mediums before the first campaign goes out. A tagged link only pays off if next quarter's link is tagged the same way.
