Our verdict

Journey Tracker records the pages and tabs you visit while researching a topic or debugging something, building a trail of your 'knowledge journey' that AI can summarize afterward. The catch is that AI summarization and other dashboard features only work if you sign in with a '@uwaterloo.ca' email address. It's a student-built project with no ratings yet, so it's most useful if you actually have that university account.

✓What it does well

Cross-tab research trackingIt records pages visited across tabs and windows during research.
AI-generated summariesYour research trail can be summarized automatically using AI.
Built for real research habitsIt's designed around how research actually spans many tabs at once.

✕Where it falls short

Waterloo email requiredDashboard features like summarization only work with a '@uwaterloo.ca' account.
No ratings yetThere are no user ratings on record for it.
Student side projectIt's a small student-built tool, not a maintained commercial product.
