Zetabot answers customer questions by pulling from a database you build, and when it doesn't have an answer it escalates the conversation to a human agent instead of guessing. It runs around the clock and the vendor frames it around a specific cost comparison: roughly $750 a month for the bot versus $1,400 for equivalent human staffing at a given chat volume. Support teams that already have documented answers to draw from can offload routine questions this way, but the bot only knows what's in that database, so anything outside it still needs a person.
