Our verdict

Fablerr sits in the Chrome toolbar and rewrites whatever you're about to post on Twitter, Reddit, Gmail or YouTube in a tone you configure ahead of time. Custom instructions let you push it toward a stricter style than the default persona settings allow. It's free to install, though in-app purchases cover part of the feature set, and with only six ratings on record there isn't much of a track record yet.

✓What it does well

Works across platformsIt plugs into Twitter, Gmail, Reddit, YouTube and effectively any other website you visit.
Adjustable personaTone, humor and formality are all configurable so replies sound like you, not a template.
Custom instructionsYou can add your own guidance so it keeps hitting the same specific notes each time.

✕Where it falls short

Chrome onlyThe extension only runs in Chrome, so it's no help on other browsers.
In-app purchasesThe free install doesn't cover everything; some features require a separate purchase.
Thin review historyOnly six ratings are on record, so there's limited evidence of how well it holds up broadly.
