Is it linked to Character.AI?
No. It uses XME's own library of AI girlfriend and boyfriend models, which is smaller than big character platforms. Character.AI characters are not available here.
Do the characters remember past chats?
XME says its models remember earlier chats, so a roleplay can pick up where it stopped. The images and clips use those same characters from the library.
