AI tools fall into two groups, model APIs you build on (Replicate, Stable Diffusion API, Novita AI) and helpers for the work itself, such as scrapers, no-code connectors like Albato and data tools like JSON AI. Compare output quality on your own inputs first, then look at latency, rate limits, SDK support, data retention policy and how often models are deprecated. A hosted marketplace such as Replicate lets you swap models behind one interface, which reduces lock-in if a provider changes terms.
