Our verdict

Specsplain adds an Explain button to TC39 specification pages that hands the underlying algorithm to Google's PaLM AI and returns a plain-language explanation. It's built for developers wading through ECMAScript's notoriously dense spec language rather than general documentation. For now it only works on the ECMAScript spec, so anyone reading a different technical specification gets no help from it.
