Our verdict

Plugin Suggester reads your ChatGPT conversation locally on your own machine and recommends a fitting plugin from a library of about 500, instead of you scrolling through the full list yourself. Because analysis happens locally, your conversation data isn't sent off to another server for this feature to work. It solves a fairly specific problem: finding the right plugin in a large library, so it has nothing to offer if you don't already use ChatGPT plugins.

✓What it does well

Local conversation analysisYour conversations are analyzed on your own machine rather than sent elsewhere.
Large plugin librarySuggestions draw from roughly 500 available ChatGPT plugins.
In-chat suggestionsSuggestions appear directly inside the ChatGPT interface without switching tabs.

✕Where it falls short

Plugin-ecosystem dependentIt's only useful if you actually use ChatGPT's plugin library, not a general chat enhancer.
Thin rating historyIt carries only 2 public ratings so far, a small sample to judge from.
Suggestion only, no installIt surfaces relevant plugins, without handling the actual plugin setup for you.
