Three worth starting with
Graphic design tools create logos, posters, social graphics and edited images, either from templates, as Canva does, or from text prompts, as Leonardo AI does. Designers, small businesses and marketers use them for fast visual work. The trade-off to check is licensing: generated images and stock assets can carry different commercial-use terms.
Often yes, but the answer sits in each tool's terms. Some allow commercial use only on certain plans, and some restrict trademarks or recognisable people. Read the licence, keep records of how an image was made, and avoid copying brand styles closely.
Template design arranges text, shapes and stock images in a layout you control. AI generation creates new imagery from a prompt, with less control over details. Many projects use both, with generated art placed inside a template for the final layout.
AI speeds up drafts, resizing and variations, but it does not replace judgement about brand, audience and consistency. Designers who brief clearly and edit results carefully get the most from it. For a full brand identity, human direction still matters.
